You'll be joining and leading our internal compliance team. You’ll combine deep compliance expertise with hands-on exposure to AI systems - reviewing, stress-testing, and improving how our agents make decisions. This is not a traditional analyst role. You are shaping how investigations are performed at scale.

We’re looking for people of exceptional competence who want to help build the future of AI-driven financial compliance.

What you'll do here:

1. Own Investigation Quality - Be the final line of defense on AI-generated investigations. Review outputs across transaction monitoring, KYC, and sanctions. Ensure every investigation meets bank-grade standards.
2. Break the System - Test new features, rules, and logic before they go live. Find where the AI fails - edge cases, blind spots, bad assumptions. Push the system until it breaks, then help fix it.
3. Define How Investigations Should Work -Translate real investigator thinking into structured logic. Shape how flags are evaluated, weighted, and combined. Influence how decisions are made across thousands of cases.
4. Analyze & Improve - Identify patterns in errors, inconsistencies, and performance gaps. Separate one-off mistakes from systemic issues. Drive improvements that meaningfully increase accuracy.
5. Work Directly With Engineering & Product - Sit in the loop with engineers - not downstream from them. Understand exactly how changes impact outcomes. Turn operational insights into shipped product improvements.
6. Be Customer-Critical - Support our most important customers with insights and recommendations. Ensure our system aligns with their policies, risk tolerance, and regulators. Represent the standard of quality they expect from us.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years in AML / financial crime investigations
• Strong curiosity for AI and how systems behave - you've been working with AI systems and they are deeply embedded in your day/day life.
• Deep experience with transaction monitoring, KYC/CDD, or sanctions
• Strong judgment - you know when to escalate and when not to
• Obsessive attention to detail
• High output without sacrificing quality
• You don’t miss things
• Systems thinker - you care how decisions are made, not just the outcome
• Able to translate intuition into logic
• Comfortable in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment
