At Conduit, we believe in a world of fair economic opportunities, where global commerce can flourish thanks to frictionless exchange of money. Our first step in building towards that vision is enabling cross-border transactions that are drastically faster, cheaper, and simpler. As we scale the business, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join us through this next phase of growth.
Our company is globally distributed, offering the opportunity to collaborate with co-workers across the world. This role requires the availability to work and attend meetings during Eastern Time zone (North America) business hours.
We are hiring a Platform Engineer to build and operate a secure, reliable, developer-friendly platform on AWS and Kubernetes. You’ll drive GitOps with ArgoCD, Infrastructure as Code with Terraform/Terragrunt, and reusable GitLab CI pipelines—partnering with product teams and supporting advanced IT initiatives.
What you'll do:
- Design and manage AWS infra with Terraform/Terragrunt (multi-account, IAM, VPC, ALB/NLB, Route 53).
- Operate and scale EKS clusters; manage workloads via ArgoCD + Helm.
- Build reusable GitLab CI pipelines and optimize GitLab Runners.
- Implement security guardrails, secrets management, and observability with Datadog.
- Support incident response, on-call rotations, and post-incident improvements.
- Partner with product teams and publish docs/workshops to enable self-service.
What we're looking for:
- 3–6 years in DevOps/Platform/SRE roles running production systems.
- Strong Terraform/Terragrunt, Kubernetes (EKS), Helm, and ArgoCD experience.
- Hands-on GitLab CI (templates, includes, DRY pipelines).
- Proficiency in Bash (Python/Go a plus) + solid Linux/networking fundamentals.
- Practical AWS experience (EKS, IAM, VPC, ALB/NLB, Route 53, S3, CloudWatch).
Join us to scale the platform that powers Conduit’s global fintech, enabling secure, fast, and reliable delivery for our teams and customers.
