Summary

We are launching a SaaS company developing an AI logistics platform for freight forwarders, brokers, and 3PLs to automate digitally repetitive tasks within their operations teams. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and highly motivated Co-Founder & CEO to bring the venture to success.

As the ultimate accountable executive in the business, you will shape the vision, build a solid team, drive growth and ensure capital influx.

Please note: This is not an employee opportunity at Diagram Ventures, but in a new company created through our venture studio model. This company will be independent of Diagram Ventures, and the founding team will receive the majority of the equity in the venture.

The Opportunity

The logistics sector faces significant challenges due to disjointed software systems, inconsistent communication standards, and unstructured data handling. These pain points force logistics providers to standup expensive operations teams focused on repetitive coordination tasks.

Our AI-based Logistics Operations Platform addresses these issues by integrating and structuring data from various sources, automating follow-up tasks, and generating sales quotes. This innovation streamlines logistics operations, reducing the reliance on large teams for repetitive, low-level tasks. By automating core workflow components, our solution enables logistics providers to reallocate their resources to more valuable activities like customer acquisition and support, revolutionizing the industry's efficiency and operational effectiveness.

Who we are looking for

We are assembling a dream team of entrepreneurs and technologists, and we are now looking for an accomplished CEO to lead the venture. If you are up for it, you will:

• Build and lead a high-caliber team of “A” player early hires
• Rapidly establish commercial relationships with ag lenders (farm credit associations, banks, credit unions, private lenders), and create a scalable sales engine over time.
• Provide overall leadership to the organization, working across all aspects and functions of the business (product, marketing, sales, tech, finance, etc.)
• Lead the fundraising efforts in collaboration with the founding team and investors
• Work closely with the investors and board

Background and experience:

• Track record of leading a business as a CEO, President, COO, or GM with P&L ownership within an organization
• Experience building a venture from the ground up
• Experience raising from VCs and leading an exit process
• Relevant industry contacts: Forwarders, Brokers, 3PLs, Wholesalers & Distributors
• Based in the US
