Summary

We have launched a SaaS company AI logistics platform for freight forwarders, brokers, shippers, carriers and 3PLs to automate digitally repetitive tasks within their operations teams. We’ve spent significant time and resources de-risking this venture, including building the initial product alongside great design partners, launching that product with strong feedback and generating strong, growing revenue through signed customer contracts.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and highly motivated Co-Founder & CEO to build on this momentum and scale the venture.

As the ultimate accountable executive in the business, you will lead the vision, build a team, drive growth and ensure capital influx.

Please note: This is not an employee opportunity at Diagram Ventures, but in a new company created through our venture studio model. This company will be independent of Diagram Ventures, and the founding team will receive the majority of the equity in the venture.

The Opportunity

The logistics sector faces significant challenges due to disjointed software systems, inconsistent communication standards, and unstructured data handling. These pain points force logistics providers to standup expensive operations teams focused on repetitive coordination tasks.

Our AI-based Logistics Operations Platform addresses these issues by integrating and structuring data from various sources, automating follow-up tasks, and generating sales quotes. This innovation streamlines logistics operations, reducing the reliance on large teams for repetitive, low-level tasks. By automating core workflow components, our solution enables logistics providers to reallocate their resources to more valuable activities like customer acquisition and support, revolutionizing the industry's efficiency and operational effectiveness. This venture has been significantly de-risked, with a product live in market and several early paying customers.

In addition to this initial product vision, we’ve de-risked several longer-term opportunities that could substantially expand the initial offering to a larger TAM.

Who we are looking for

We are assembling a dream team of entrepreneurs and technologists, and we are now looking for an accomplished CEO to lead the venture. If you are up for it, you will:

1. Rapidly establish net new commercial relationships with forwarders, brokers, shippers, carriers and 3PLs, and create a scalable sales engine over time, while nurturing existing customer relationships
2. Quickly close the seed round fundraising efforts, building on sales momentum and lead investment commitment from Diagram Ventures
3. Build and lead a high-caliber team of “A” player early hires
4. Provide overall leadership to the organization, working across all aspects and functions of the business (product, marketing, sales, tech, finance, etc.)
5. Most importantly, you must be able to demonstrate extremely high degrees of ownership, grit and determination in your previous endeavors

Background and experience

1. Track record of leading a business as a CEO, President, Sales or Product leader with P&L ownership within an organization
2. Experience raising from VCs and leading an exit process
3. Experience building a venture from the ground up
4. Relevant industry contacts: Forwarders, Brokers, 3PLs, Shippers, Carriers
5. Based in US
