The Opportunity

We are launching an AI-powered assistant to help test and debug games faster, to enable studios to launch high quality games on-time. Testing is a critical part of ensuring a game’s success, but testing and debugging is still a very manual and time consuming process. As games are getting larger and more complex, it’s increasing the volume of testing required, which in turn is leading to more time spent by developers fixing bugs. Meanwhile the tools used by developers & testers have not significantly changed. We are looking to change that.

This venture has been significantly de-risked, with product-market fit verified, an early commercial pipeline including a few game studios identified who are interested in collaborating to build an MVP, and investors ready to fund a seed round.

Summary of the role

We are assembling a dream team of entrepreneurs and technologists, and we are now looking for an accomplished Chief Technology Officer to lead and execute the product vision. If you are up for it, you will:

• Execute, build upon, and scale the business’ product and technology vision, while empowering the team to take ownership of the vision and drive the company’s success.
• Develop SaaS product. Drive the design and implementation of the venture’s platform, ensuring it is built with ease-of-use, scalability and performance in mind.
• Team building and leadership. Build a high-performing technical team, including recruitment, retention, and professional development of early hires.
• Innovation and continuous improvement: Continuously review the latest technologies and trends to identify opportunities to enhance the venture’s product offerings, improve the user experience, and ensure it remains at the cutting edge.
• Collaborate with stakeholders: Engage with the CEO, investors, and stakeholders to align technology with business objectives. Actively solicit feedback and explore opportunities where technology can provide a competitive advantage.

Background & Experience

• Proven technical leadership: Demonstrated experience in providing technical leadership. Track record of identifying and hiring top talent, evidence of followership, developing and leading high-performance teams
• 0 to 1 product building experience: Proven track record of building product roadmaps based on user feedback and developing products with strong UI/UX, excellent performance and resilience.
• AI experience: Proven track record of successfully deploying AI-powered products at scale, managing the entire lifecycle of AI product development, including data acquisition, model training, deployment, and iteration. Ability to understand complex workflows and design AI solutions and interfaces that deliver efficiency and value
• Strong communication skills: Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working with investors and boards is a plus.
• Risk and security awareness: Expertise in identifying and mitigating technical risks, including security vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks. Familiarity with secure coding practices and compliance in cloud environments.
• Relevant industry experience: Video Game Development, Gaming Development Tech, Video Game QA/QC, AI Application

Other Desirable Assets

• Experience in the gaming industry (as a product provider or game developer)
• Experience with game testing & development tools
• Experience being founder/co-founder or early hire in a venture backed company
