Your role as Accounting Analyst

Reporting to Robert Loyers Vincent, Assistant Controller, you will contribute to the billing and invoicing functions of the accounting team while maintaining and increasing the efficiency overall. Rather than being defined onto a single role, this position will allow you to discover and experience multiple facets and processes of the company

What you’ll be doing:

  • Updating and maintaining records of expenditures including assisting the team in taking care of billing customers and supplier requests, reconciling of bank statements, payments to customer accounts and insurance withdrawals
  • Delivering accurate month-end related tasks including owning the full process of billing our MDs and allied professionals and resolving payment discrepancies
  • Working in collaboration with the accounting team and internal stakeholders on special projects such as accounting integrations, implementations, etc
  • Taking on the invoicing portion of the accounting process to create, customize and send out invoices to all our customers on a monthly basis
  • Owning some monthly tasks such as preparing various monthly reports (AR, AP, etc.), GST/PST assessments while improving existing processes

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role with accounting credentials (CPA is a plus)
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with meticulous organization and planning skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in French & English
  • Strong problem solver comfortable working independently
  • Advanced Excel skills

Please note that as we serve customers across Canada, bilingualism is essential for this position. You may be required to communicate in French and English.
