What We're Looking for
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payment Operations Associate to ensure our financial transactions are processed smoothly and accurately. In this role, you will handle payment reconciliations, analyze transaction data, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve payment issues.
What You'll Do
- Payment Reconciliation: Match payment records from different sources to ensure accuracy. Quickly identify and fix any discrepancies.
- Process Improvement: Help find ways to make payment processes more efficient and suggest improvements.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with other teams (like product, engineering, and support) to integrate payment processes with overall business operations. Provide help and guidance on payment-related questions.
- Payment Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve issues with payments, such as failures or disputes, and ensure problems are resolved to everyone's satisfaction.
- Bank Relationship: Partner with our banks to manage payment queries and ensure account balances are accurate.
- Problem Solver: Identify issues, raise awareness, and work towards solutions.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of processes and changes to support smooth transitions and training.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in payment operations, reconciliation, payment processing, or a similar role.
- Understanding of finance, accounting, or payments.
- Good at analyzing and interpreting data.
- Familiar with payment systems and software.
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in data entry.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets and basic SQL.
- Good at solving problems and working under pressure.
- Strong communicator who works well with others.
- Able to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexible and open to adapting to new tasks and changes.

The salary for this full-time position (USD: $75,000-$100,000, CAD: $68,000-$90,000) is determined by role, level, and location. The range informed in this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US and Canadian locations. Within the range, individual pay will be determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, relevant training, and other factors.
