The Role
We’re hiring a Commercial Account Executive focused on acquiring new business within organizations generating up to $250M in annual revenue.
This is a full-cycle, outbound-driven role closing $20K–$100K ACV deals with growing mid-market companies.
This is not a “wait for inbound” position. We’re looking for someone who creates opportunities — not just manages them.
What You’ll Own
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Generate pipeline through creative outbound, effectively managing inbound leads, events, and your own referral network
- Multi-thread buyers across Marketing, Sustainability, ESG, and executive stakeholders
- Maintain 3–4x pipeline coverage
- Close new logo business within the $20K–$100K ACV range
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless handoffs and long-term expansion
Creativity & Differentiation
We are not looking for a run-of-the-mill account executive who relies on templated sequences and generic discovery questions.

Professional Requirements
- 3+ years closing SaaS deals in the $20K–$100K ACV range
- Experience selling into companies up to $250M in revenue
- Proven record of exceeding revenue targets
- Demonstrated outbound pipeline generation success
- Experience navigating multi-stakeholder buying processes
- CRM and AI proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent)
What Success Looks Like
First 3 Months
- Understand veritree product, ICP, use case, and internal processes
- Build 1-2x qualified pipeline
- Co-sell with established Account Executives
- Demonstrate the ability to execute effective discovery calls and control early stage pipeline
By 6 Months
- Independently run full sales cycles
- Maintain 3x+ pipeline coverage
- Close new logo deals within target ACV
By 12 Months
- Consistently meet or exceed quota
- Generate at least 25% of your own pipeline
- Demonstrate expansion opportunities within accounts

Typical On Target Earnings for this position is $120,000 - $185,000 CAD per year with a 50 /50 split of base salary and variable sales bonus. The final salary offer will be based on your qualifications, job-related skills, and relevant experience.
